Construction Update – July

There’s plenty of activity on-site as this world-class visitor precinct continues to take shape.  

Inside the visitor centre, the internal fit-out of rooms and spaces is almost done, with visitor facilities installed , lighting on and the concrete flooring and polishing now in. 

As the building’s connections and finishes are made, attention begins to turn towards the commissioning phase of the project, which will involve thorough testing and quality checking of the works. 

Outside in the precinct, landscaping also continues as the site’s major revegetation program shifts across to the central carpark and northern access road areas. 

Over 100,000 new plants are already in the ground across the precinct.
