Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions[1] apply to the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre located at Great Ocean Road and Booringa Road Princetown Victoria[2].
By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Booking conditions
- Bookings can only be made through this web site by using a major credit card. Your credit card will be debited at the time of ordering.
- All credit card purchases are made through the secure payment facility. The service uses a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol that was developed to protect confidential information such as credit card numbers and other financial data from interception and hacking. In the unlikely event that you believe any unauthorised use of your credit card has occurred, please immediately notify us by email and contact your bank directly. We do not have any control over the security of online purchases, and do not accept any liability for loss resulting from such transactions.
- A Booking is not valid until you receive an email with your booking ID and QR code. This is your Booking Confirmation.
- By making a Booking you give us the right to email or text you a Booking Confirmation and/or information regarding your booking.
- You are responsible for ensuring that all information included in your Booking is accurate. We are not liable for any loss you suffer because you supplied incorrect information.
- We may request you present your Booking Confirmation, credit card used to make the Booking, photo identification and valid proof of any concession entitlement.
- Bookings are subject to availability, valid for a single entry only and non-transferable.
- Other than in the circumstances set out in condition 13, Bookings are non-refundable.
- A Booking can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the Start Time indicated on your Booking Confirmation or amended at any time prior to the Start Time indicated on your Booking Confirmation[3]. Any amendment to your Booking is subject to availability.
- You may arrive up to one hour before or up to one hour after the Start Time indicated on your Booking Confirmation. This is your Booking Window.
- Your booking is only valid if you arrive during your Booking Window.
- We can refuse you entry to the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre if you arrive at any time outside your Booking Window. Failure to arrive during your Booking Window will result in your Booking being forfeited.
- In certain circumstances we may have to cancel, reschedule or otherwise modify your Booking. This may include severe weather conditions, emergencies, government directions or other operational requirements. Where it is possible we will try and notify you in advance. If the circumstances in this condition apply you can request a refund of the cost of your Booking.
Conditions of Entry
- You must comply with any conditions or signs displayed in the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre. We reserve the right to deny access to you or eject you if you are being a public nuisance, acting recklessly or failing to observe any directions we give you. The decision to deny access and/or eject you is made at our absolute discretion.
- We reserve the right to inspect your bags at any time for security purposes.
- Children must be accompanied by and always supervised by an adult.
- Areas within the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre may include rough terrain and made and unmade natural surfaces. You should take care when navigating such areas and wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
- There are many open areas within the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre that are suitable for passive recreation. You cannot erect beach umbrellas, tents, gazebos or similar structures in these areas.
- Smoking, vaping and using any electronic device that simulates tobacco smoking is prohibited within the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre.
- No alcohol or drugs are permitted within the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre and you may be refused entry or ejected if we reasonably believe you are in possession of, adversely affected by alcohol or drugs.
- Animals are not permitted within the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre except for properly trained guide, hearing or assistance animals. You are encouraged to make contact and discuss your needs with us prior to making a Booking.
- You are permitted to take photographs, images, video or sound recordings, or make artwork for personal use but not for commercial use without our express written approval. You must respect the privacy of other people within the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre.
- You are not permitted to behave in a way or possess an object that is likely to cause disruption, nuisance or offence to other persons. The operation of drones, kites or any such aircraft or objects are prohibited. Objects such as balls, balloons, bicycles, drones, scooters (excluding mobility scooters), skateboards, roller blades or motorised devices or illegal substances are not allowed. However, we allow mobility scooters to support people with physical disabilities moving around the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre.
- You consent to and authorise us to film, record or photograph you (Recordings), and to reproduce Recordings in any audio, video, or photographic display or other transmissions, exhibition, publication or reproduction in any print or online medium or context hosted by or affiliated with the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre and for the permitted purposes described in these terms including, but not limited to, marketing and promotional activities, security, or any activity related to the operation of the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre without further authorisation by, or compensation or attribution to you. All Recordings are our sole property, and you release us from liability arising on account of such usage.
- The Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre is equipped with security cameras, and you may be filmed in any part of the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre.
- You enter the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be responsible for any loss, damage, harm or injury arising from your entry to the Twelve Apostle Visitor Centre. Where we can limit our liability at law, including under the Australian Consumer Law:
- our liability is limited to an amount equal to the cost of an adult Booking to the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre; and
- we exclude all other rights and remedies, including in contract, tort (including negligence), statutory duty or other breaches of the law.

General
- We may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendments take effect once they are published on our website.
- In these Terms and Conditions:
Words in the singular include the plural and vice versa.
Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre means the area the Land Manager has by determination set aside as an area of a reserve as an area to which access is prohibited or restricted.
Booking means a ticket, e-ticket, permit or other authority issued by the Land Manager authorising a person to enter the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre
Booking Confirmation means the email with your booking ID and QR code which constitutes a valid Booking.
Booking Window means the period up to one hour before or up to one hour after the Start Time indicated on your Booking Confirmation when you can arrive at the Twelve Apostles Booking Centre.
Land Manager means Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority
You and Your means the person making the Booking and all those people included in the Booking
We and Us means Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority and it employees, contractors and agents
